Granny: I just bought outdoor carpet from Lowe's it comes in 6foot wide rolls and is 1.96 a foot, 25 ft was just under 50.00. They also have a 12foot wide roll, I believe it was .30 a square ft. I've had this kind of carpet before and it holds up well in the weather.

pwthrby: When I had my cabin cruiser, I bought a new piece of outdoor carpet from home depot to cover the unsightly cracks in the rear deck. As I recall, it wasn't too expensive and held up to rain and sun throughout the boating season for years. Get sth that is specifically rated for outdoor use and you will be fine.
