under floor heating and carpets?

under floor heating and carpets?
My ground floor is solid. The kitchen and conservatory are to be wet under floor heating with tiles on top. Can I use the same heating system for my front room when I want to lay carpet. Electric underfloor seems to say yes but I can find no advice for a wet system.

Helping you:  Yes you can. the carpet has a natural R value. This is what you should keep in mind when buying you carpet. You should check with your installer or the person who is selling the stuff to you if you are installing it you self on the max R value you should have. here is a great link to calculate the R value of the carpet you are using.

Haza:  Yes should be no problem. I take it you're gonna lay your underfloor heating pipes then screed over the top of them?? If this is the case then having carpet on top of the screed in your front room is perfectly fine.

What the Heck:  No problem but check with the carpet shop about the underlay. I'm sure it's different and thinner.
