Can radiant floor heating be used under Traffic Master Peel and Stick tiles by Allure?
I would like a heated floor in my bathroom but I don't want real tile. Can I still have my heated floors with peel and stick tile tha can be grouted?

alvarz:  peel and stick only work in a bathroom that stays perfectly dry. as far as floor heat you are out of luck---the heat will make the non-hardening glue very soft and cause '''gassing'' which will raise the tiles from the floor.

uclueletbc:  the heat might keep the glue soft and loosen the tile

xenon:  No way Jose. You can only use ceramic type.

fireguy:  are you thinking of electric heat or radiant hydronic(water) heat?

electric no go. but radiant hydronic heat yes. for under floor applications you don't want to run the same temperature water that you would use in a baseboard radiator. the baseboards typically get heated water upwards of 180 degress. for underfloor applications you don't want the water that hot so a mixing valve is used. this valve mixes the returning cooler water with the hot water from the boiler. it is possible to put hydronic heat anywhere you want it. just think if the floor tiles were heated to 180. way to hot huh. so there you go.

i hope that you have a boiler and this works for you.
