Calling all home decorators, builders and people with small rooms. Help me!?!?!?!?
So I have a small room (about 10ft by 11ft) and about 7 1/2ft in height. My room is always messy and cluttered because it's so small.
I would really love to put loft in my room, but im not sure if it will fit.
Here are some pictures of the idea I am looking to do:

do you think I could do it or will I have to expand my bedroom?

babylove.xo: I think that a loft would be a good idea for a small room. It saves alot of floor space. Maybe try getting one that has an opening under so you can store stuff underneath. I really like that one though!

Skadoctor1: A loft is going to take up such a ginormous amount of what little space you have I think you will feel closed up and so close to the ceiling that you could touch the ceiling. I would look more in to multi use furniture and items. If you can swing the expense, they make TV's that look like mirrors but when you use the remote, its a TV.
You can also make a unit that goes against the wall that can be your bed and dresser area with built in book shelves and then have a separate unit for a TV or desk area or, build a pull out laptop area in to your bed idea.
There are PLENTY of ways to free up space in your room while providing all the essential stuff you need... you need to look at other options than the one you are persuing. If you provide your e-mail address to mine, I can e-mail you some photo ideas. Take care!

my44444: wow! really neat! i also have a similar issue...twin babies room is 8x10. with these dimensions in mind...you have to consider the position of your window(s), closet doors that need to swing open and the bedroom door position , which also needs room to open. your room is only 2 feet larger than what i have. i would figure you need a sizeable room to fit such a large unit. contact the manufacturer to get specs and dimensions. good luck!
