Hi fellow decorators i was wondering how to make my bed look modern like a model home picture l?
Although only fifteen i take great pride in keeping my room tidy and looking nice i was wondering what i could do to make it look modern. I don't have like a platform or anything so just a few tips on how to make my room modern and any other cleaning tips or anything would be greatly appreciated!

kitty: Typically, modern style has clean lines. To make your bedroom more modern, start with maybe a new comforter...maybe black or gray with a splash of red. (If you have a bedskirt, get rid of that).Remember modern is simple and clean...get rid of the clutter. Google it and you'll see some of your options. Good luck.

kelse645: You could paint your furniture a different color or like, kitty said, get a new bed set. The most effective technique would probably be to just paint the walls a bold color and then get/paint furni that's a neutral color, like black or gray. Make sure you add accent colors, colors that are similar to your wall color.
