Area Rugs

How to keep area rugs from slipping on wood floors?
I installed wood floors for the dogs. It makes for easy clean up of accidents. However I did not think ahead to the dogs comfort of play. They slid on wood DUH! So I put down multiple area rugs. I have no slip pads double taped to the underside but they roll up, peel off and slide if the dogs don't specificly hit the area that the pad is under. I've looked online for something that will guarantee the rugs to stay in place and maybe cut down on noise but they are crazy expensive. My husban

What is the cost to have two area rugs (6' by 3') cleaned?

A. Spruce:It sounds like it's binding the brush roll, which means the noise is either a clutch kicking in and "ratcheting" to prevent damage to the vacuum and the rug, OR, the belt is slipping and screeching.
